Regional Retail Manager

Adecco is actively seeking a Retail Manager to oversee operations across five retail locations, including three in Ottawa (Algoma, Orleans, Ottawa Hospital), one in Kingston, and one in Mississauga. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a proven track record in retail management who can drive sales, optimize operations, and cultivate high-performing teams across multiple sites.

• Pay Rate: $80k-$85k/year.
• Location: Ottawa, ON (with travel to Kingston & Mississauga)
• Shift: Mondays to Fridays 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

• Lead and support store managers and teams across five retail locations in Ottawa, Kingston, and Mississauga.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff to deliver excellent service and achieve sales targets.
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and visual presentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities to boost results.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and maintain accurate pricing across all locations.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to ensure efficient operations and timely product delivery.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and maintain a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate promotional activities and maintain strong brand standards.
• Travel regularly between stores to provide leadership, support, and performance oversight.

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience successfully managing retail stores and multi-site teams.
• College diploma/degree or relevant technical/vocational training preferred.
• Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Proven track record in driving sales, merchandising, and customer service excellence.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving, planning, and strategic skills.
• Adaptable, agile, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
