Adecco is currently seeking a Quality Specialist to join our client’s team based in Ajax, ON. This 12-month contract role offers a pay range of $31–$33 per hour and an opportunity to contribute to a world-class aerospace manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality, driving process improvement, and supporting operational excellence across production teams.
Pay rate: $31-$33/hour.
Location: Ajax, ON
Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Responsibilities:
Perform Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) in response to internal non-conformances and customer complaints.
Conduct non-conformance analysis to minimize rework, scrap, and production issues.
Coach and train hourly and staff personnel on RCCA and problem-solving as part of site quality initiatives.
Conduct product, process, and workstation audits to ensure compliance with standards.
Support 3rd-party and customer audits as required.
Assist the Program Quality Manager in interfacing with customers on new programs (as needed).
Collaborate with Operations to reduce non-conformances, scrap, and rework, improving lead time and on-time delivery.
Support initiatives such as QRQC, 5S, TPM, Tool Life Management, and Continuous Improvement.
Participate in PFMEA and industrialization processes (DVI / FAI planning).
Perform timely QA Reviews and execute Add Info on NCRs raised in QIS.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or Manufacturing Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar quality or manufacturing role.
Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing methods (milling, turning, honing, grinding, and inspection).
Ability to interpret CNC/CMM programs and apply error-proofing techniques.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Office and familiar with QIS.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
