Quality Control Associate

Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Quality Control Associate for our client, a leading electronics manufacturing company located in Ottawa, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for performing product inspection and audits of quality control programs on a packaging line including testing incoming components and raw material. • Pay rate: $18/hour

• Location: Ottawa, ON  

• Shifts: Days Tuesday to Saturday

• Job type: Full-time | Temporary

Job responsibilities include:

• Conducting repetitive inspection of product/materials against known standards, procedures and checklists

• Identifying and segregating non-conforming material

• Reading assembly and process documentation

• Recognizing discrepancies in documentation or problems with quality, product, or process, and recommends changes

• Conducting product inspection, documenting as required, according to specific procedures

• Executing properly on inventory control, cycle counting, and computer transactions

• Preparing components and/or wire and conducting cable and harness assembly

Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.

• Minimum of 1-2 years related work experience

• Must have experience with MS Office Suite (i.e Excel, Word and Microsoft)

• Ability to articulate technical and or quality issues to team leads

• Ability to pay strong attention to detail – required

• Ability to work in a highly demanding, deadline-driven work environment
