Project Coordinator (Rotation to Fort McMurray)

Adecco is actively seeking a Project Coordinator for a full-time, permanent opportunity based in Edmonton, AB on a 14/14 rotation to Fort McMurray, supporting our client, a well-established General Contractor specializing in commercial (ICI) construction. This role works closely with the Edmonton-based Project Management team to support the successful planning and execution of construction projects. The Project Coordinator will play a key role in coordinating site activities, supporting schedules and budgets, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. This position offers strong potential for professional growth within a collaborative, flexible, and engaging work environment.
Pay Rate: $80k-$100k/year.

Responsibilities:
Support Project Managers and Site Superintendents with day-to-day project coordination and workload management
Coordinate, schedule, and follow up with sub-trades to ensure productivity and adherence to project schedules
Assist with maintaining and updating project schedules, cost tracking, and documentation
Participate in site activities and attend client, safety, and trade meetings as required
Assist Project Managers with pricing reviews, change orders, and progress tracking
Monitor project activities to help achieve schedule compliance, cost control, and quality standards
Maintain accurate and organized project records, reports, and correspondence
Support compliance with construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and company procedures
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues and support project delivery
Contribute to achieving project profitability, schedule attainment, and quality control objectives
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
Post-secondary education in Construction Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline
5–7 years of progressive experience in the commercial (ICI) construction sector
Previous experience working with a General Contractor is required
Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, and specifications
Proven ability to coordinate multiple project activities and priorities simultaneously
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Site Superintendents, sub-trades, and clients
ASET or APEGA designation (or working toward) considered an asset
