Adecco is actively seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to join our client’s manufacturing team in Edmonton, Alberta. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a passion for safety, operational excellence, and team development. You’ll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations, driving process efficiency, and maintaining high standards for safety and quality.

  • Pay Rate: $105k/year.

  • Location: Edmonton, AB

  • Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Model and uphold company safety standards; ensure all required training is completed.

  • Lead monthly safety meetings and coach employees on safe work practices.

  • Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

  • Oversee production to ensure safe, efficient, and on-schedule operations during all shifts, including shutdowns and cleanouts.

  • Maintain product quality and ensure adherence to customer standards and production schedules.

  • Conduct root cause analyses and train operators on problem-solving techniques.

  • Enforce company policies, provide regular feedback, and deliver coaching to team members.

  • Foster a positive, high-performance team culture focused on continuous improvement.

  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and drive process improvements.

  • Identify and reduce waste, optimize resources, and lead productivity and efficiency projects.

  • Manage payroll, attendance, overtime, and shift reporting.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including SOPs, OPLs, and JHAs.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Operations, or Business preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

  • At least 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience.

  • Proven skills in leadership, communication, and problem-solving.

  • Strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

  • Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
