Production & Field Service Technician
Adecco is seeking a Product and Field Service Technician for a globally-known company in Brockville, ON.
As a Product and Field Service Technician, you'll be responsible for the the execution of production tasks, (assembly of parts and sub-assemblies. Assembly and testing of systems), as well as the installation, field service, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and calibration of the client's Automated dispensing systems, both domestically and abroad.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Production:
Follow safe practices and quality standards and adhere to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures for health, safety, and environmental compliance whether working in production at the client or at a customer site.
Assemble and manufacture systems and assemblies as per drawings.
Complete testing of final product or subassemblies for functionality, quality, and adherence to customer specifications.
Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, subassemblies, or products.
Must be able to work as a team and independently.
Prepare completed systems for domestic and international shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Pick parts for system and assembly builds when required.
Field Service
Onsite installation of the client's automated dispensing and batching systems or retrofits at customers’ facilities as per Engineering drawings.
Perform diagnostic analysis, repair, and/or preventative maintenance to customers’ equipment.
Train end-users on system operation, the client's custom software (while providing insights on efficient process flow), maintenance, and best practices.
Provide accurate and detailed reports to the production manager, technical support, and engineering teams.
Schedule and manage pre- install, post-install, and service meetings with applicable departments.
Provide excellent customer service while promoting the client as a leader in the design and manufacture of automated dispensing systems.
Complete and submit expense reports for company travel in an organized and timely manner.
Perform onsite system audits and evaluations and provide documented reports and recommendations to customer account manager.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada.
Must have a valid passport and able to travel domestically and internationally.
Willing to work/travel outside of what is considered regular working hours.
Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate a forklift.
Mechanical aptitude and comfortable with the use of hand and power tools
Complex Problem Solving: Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work to a schedule.
Ability to read and understand technical drawing.
Aptitude in Microsoft Outlook, Word or similar.
Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English, multilingual considered an asset.
Familiarity with electro-pneumatics and/ or fluid dynamics considered an asset.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be bondable.
