Adecco in partnership with our client, growing in the sustainable energy industry, are currently hiring a full-time highly skilled Procurement Program Manager to oversee and optimize procurement strategies, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals for our client in Southwestern Ontario. This role requires strategic thinking, leadership, and expertise in managing supplier relationships, contracts, and procurement processes across multiple projects or programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all contractual aspects of project execution.

  • Lead contract negotiations and management.

  • Supervise procurement team activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Integrate procurement with financial planning.

  • Conduct market research and develop procurement strategies.

  • Prepare essential documentation and improve templates and reports.

  • Manage supplier prequalification and secure optimal terms with suppliers.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to forecast needs and specifications.

  • Manage procurement budgets and ensure compliance with industry standards.

  • Lead and mentor the procurement team.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.

  • Several years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

  • Proficient in contract management, with extensive experience with large-scale projects.

  • Strong understanding of local terms and conditions.

  • Effective negotiation and contract management skills.

  • Significant international and multi cultural experience.

  • Commitment to health, safety, and sustainability standards.
