Adecco is currently hiring a full-time detail-oriented and analytical Procurement Analyst to manage and optimize the procurement process within our client’s organization in Kitimat, BC. The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for analyzing purchasing data, evaluating supplier performance, managing contracts, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

If you have strong analytical skills, knowledge of procurement best practices, and the ability to collaborate across departments to meet business needs, we are looking for you!

  • Pay Rate: $40 - $50/hr (based on experience)

  • Location: Kitimat, BC

  • Shift: Monday – Friday | 8 hrs per day (possibility of overtime)

  • Job type: Long Term | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Takes accountability for own performance and understands the impacts of behaviours and actions on others

  • Provides assistance in developing and implementing the Procurement Strategy

  • Ensures that sound supply chain/ procurement processes are followed, project implementation methodologies are deployed and implementation is completed in accordance with the Client's process, documentation and governance

Qualifications and Skills :

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Post-secondary education or certification in Supply Chain Management preferred,

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement environment.

  • Knowledge of contracts, Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle, and reporting metrics

  • Takes initiatives to find solutions to problems and challenges

  • Resolves problems with an open mind, viewing them as challenges rather than obstacles

  • Ensures that sound supply chain/ procurement processes are followed, project implementation methodologies are deployed and implementation is completed in accordance with RTP’s process, documentation and governance requirements
