Process Technician (Injection Molding)

Adecco Engineering & Technical Recruitment is currently searching for a Process Technician (Injection Molding) for our client, to join their team in north Vaughan, Ontario. This position will be responsible for performing the set ups, start-ups, optimizing the IMMs, troubleshooting for new projects and existing production projects. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED – Process Technician (Injection Molding)

.

- 5-10+ years’ experience in injection molding processing and set ups, start-ups

- Experience optimizing the IMMs

- Knowledge of injection molding manufacturing equipment and related processes

- Understanding of plant infrastructure in injection molding manufacturing

- Comprehension of robotic systems and automation

- Strong communication skills, and possess the ability to communicate in industry technical terms

- Leadership skills

RESPONSIBILITIES – Process Technician (Injection Molding)

.

- Set ups, start-ups, optimizing the IMMs, troubleshooting for new projects and existing production projects (as required)

- Up-time and productivity of all operating manufacturing cells

- Subtle process modifications of molding machines to ensure product quality levels are maintained

- Communicate in industry specific terms to technical department issues and corrective action required to ensure productivity levels are maintained

- Change molds according to the production schedule and with required setup time.

- Change materials as required

- Perform cleaning of mixing tubes and barrels as required.

- Perform start-up operations including robots.

- Produce parts according to the standards provided by the quality department to meet customer requirements

- Fill out all required documents as per procedures

- Produce products at efficiencies/cycle standards provided.

- Maintain a clean safe and organized manufacturing environment.

- Maintain good labor relations climate with all employees.

- Ensures compliance to health and safety legislation

- Adherence to all GMP, clean room, and ISO procedures

- Strict compliance to safety rules and procedures while on premises
