Print Shop Technician

Adecco is currently hiring for a permanent, full-time Print Shop Technician for our client in Ottawa, ON. As a Print Shop Technician, you will support clients with their design and print needs, ensuring high-quality production and exceptional service. This role involves collaborating on creative concepts, managing print workflows, and overseeing production processes from start to finish.

• Salary: $18 - $21/hour (depending on experience)

• Location: Ottawa, ON

• Shifts: Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

• Organize print workflow from docket creation to finishing

• Conduct quality inspections of printed jobs

• Accurately estimate printing costs for each project

• Handle customer inquiries, orders, and quotations

• Collaborate with clients to develop creative solutions within their budget

• Stay updated on graphic design and printing industry trends

• Maintain detailed records of project specifications and revisions

• Assist with marketing by creating promotional materials

Qualifications & Skills:

• Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

• College diploma in graphic design or print technology

• Minimum 2 years of experience or equivalent

• Bilingual in English and French

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office

• Familiarity with web design is an asset

• Knowledge of various types of paper and print terminology

• Ability to work in a PC environment
