Power Engineer Class 4th

Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Power Engineer 4th Class to join our client’s team in Abbotsford, BC. This full-time role involves the monitoring and maintenance of all mechanical systems and equipment within the plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of high-pressure boilers, performing pre-operational inspections, and conducting repairs as needed.

• Pay Rate: $39.00 per hour (plus shift premium)

• Location: Abbotsford, BC

• Shift: Straight midnight shift

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

• Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers.

• Oversee all mechanical equipment and systems within the plant.

• Perform daily inspections and address any issues or repairs.

• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems.

• Ability to work rotational shifts as required.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• 4th Class Power Engineering (TSBC License) and Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.

• 3-4 years of maintenance experience.

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems, with proficiency in using power and manual tools.
