Adecco is actively seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Administrator, Donor Services to join our client’s team. This full-time role provides essential administrative support for fundraising efforts, donor events, and stewardship activities. As a key member of the team, you will help manage donor relations, ensure efficient processing of donations, and contribute to the growth of philanthropic initiatives. Responsibilities:  

  • Provide vital administrative assistance for fundraising campaigns, donor events, and stewardship activities. This includes scheduling and coordinating meetings, sending personalized event invitations, holiday cards, and following up on action items.

  • Respond to donor inquiries via phone, email, or mail, ensuring a high level of professionalism and customer service. You will be responsible for managing donor relationships and providing timely responses to inquiries.

  • Assist in planning and executing donor recognition and fundraising events, ensuring they align with organizational goals.

  • Process incoming donations, including cheques, online contributions, and in-kind gifts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare and send acknowledgment letters, receipts, and other donor communications, maintaining a high standard of service and professionalism.

  • Coordinate matching gift requests and ensure proper documentation is maintained for accuracy and accountability.

  • Maintain and update the organization’s donor database, ensuring accurate and timely entry of donor information, contributions, and interactions.

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • A diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Communications, Nonprofit Management) or equivalent experience.

  • At least 1 year of administrative or database management experience. Experience in a nonprofit or fundraising environment is a plus.

  • Proficiency in donor management software (e.g., Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms).

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

  • A positive team player with a passion for philanthropy.
