Adecco is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll & Benefits Administrator to join our client’s team in Abbotsford, BC. This full-time role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work within a collaborative and professional HR environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in payroll processing and benefits administration, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering accurate and timely employee support.
  • Pay Rate: $65k-$73k/year.

Responsibilities:  
  • Administer employee benefits through the full life cycle, including enrolment, changes, and terminations.
  • Ensure smooth transitions and updates for employee records.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with benefits vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop, generate, and distribute analytical reports for management, regulatory agencies, and unions.
  • Use Excel and HRIS tools to prepare accurate data summaries.
  • Process and reconcile payroll to ensure accurate and timely compensation.
  • Address discrepancies and maintain payroll accuracy.
  • Resolve employee inquiries and issues related to payroll and benefits.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Finance departments to resolve cases efficiently.
Requirements:  
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • College diploma or coursework in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or Payroll Administration
  • 3–5 years’ experience in payroll processing and benefits administration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and stay organized
  • Enrolment in the PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) Certification Program
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors
