Parts Coordinator

Adecco is currently seeking a Parts Coordinator to join our client’s team in Mississauga, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for managing inventory, processing purchase orders, and ensuring the timely delivery of automotive parts to support both vehicle maintenance and production operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, prior experience in automotive manufacturing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay rate: $24/hour.
Location: Mississauga, ON
Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Job type: 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:
Coordinate sourcing, ordering, and distribution of automotive parts for maintenance and production operations.
Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, tracking, and reconciliation.
Process purchase orders, shipping documentation, and vendor invoices with accuracy.
Monitor parts usage, stock replenishment, and lead times to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, DOT).
Operate material handling equipment and perform warehouse duties safely.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control and logistics.
Liaise with suppliers, maintenance teams, and production to resolve issues.
Use ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to manage data and generate reports.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s/technical degree in logistics or supply chain preferred).
Minimum 4 years in parts coordination/inventory management, preferably in automotive or heavy equipment.
Valid driver’s license required; must complete Dangerous Goods training.
Strong ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office proficiency.
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and documentation.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of ATA codes and familiarity with GSE/vehicle systems an asset.
Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in a warehouse/shop environment with variable conditions.
