Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Order Desk Coordinator in the manufacturing industry to join our client’s logistics team, in Scarborough, ON! In this role, you will be responsible for  taking and processing customer orders, coordinating with production team, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has prior order desk experience and a solid understanding of food manufacturing processes, inventory management, and customer service. Previous order desk experience in a manufacturing environment is required for this role.

  • Pay Rate: $20 – $22/hour (based on experience)

  • Location: Scarborough, ON

  • Shift: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Receive customer orders via phone, email, and fax.

  • Input orders with accuracy into ERP system.

  • Doing basic calculations related to business terms on the orders

  • Track the shipment dates and production processes for each order

  • Other administrative works assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • Previous order desk experience is required in the manufacturing industry

  • Industrial food manufacturing preferred

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.

  • Must be proficient in using MS office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Well organized and able to communicate well with customers and internal colleagues

  • Have a good mathematical aptitude.

  • Have a high level of positive work ethics and team spirit

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent, college education preferred.
