Adecco is currently hiring a full-time enthusiastic and compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our expanding Health team in Mississauga. This role is ideal for clinicians who are driven to improve quality of life for clients in their community.   • Pay Rate: $52.00 - $65.00/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Help clients overcome functional, cognitive, and emotional challenges to improve independence in daily living.

  • Conduct detailed in-home assessments to evaluate physical abilities, cognitive strengths, safety risks, and psychosocial factors.

  • Create customized care plans in collaboration with clients and families.

  • Provide recommendations for the frequency and duration of therapy required to achieve client goals.

  • Partner closely with physicians, social workers, nurses, and other health‑care professionals to ensure coordinated client care.

  • Evaluate client needs and train clients or caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment, safety tools, mobility devices, and environmental modifications.

  • Reevaluate client progress, adjust care plans as needed, and ensure all documentation—including assessments, reports, and progress notes—is complete and accurate.

  • Participate in ongoing education and skill development initiatives.

  • Model compassionate, respectful, and professional behaviour in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and community partners.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

  • Active registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).

  • 3+ years of experience preferred, ideally in a community‑based setting, though applicants with less experience are welcome to apply.

  • Strong clinical assessment abilities and experience working with diverse populations.

  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
