Adecco is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our clients team in Timmins, ON. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $36.84-$50.24 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting various chemical analyses, interpreting test results, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory procedures.

  • Pay Rate: $36.84-$50.24/hour.

  • Location: Timmins, ON

  • Shifts: 12-hour shifts | Days and nights

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment.

  • Conduct chemical analyses of blood, urine, and other body fluids.

  • Study blood cells and tissues to identify physiological and pathological conditions.

  • Prepare tissue sections for microscopic examinations.

  • Perform blood group, type, and compatibility tests.

  • Validate, document, and report test results.

  • Establish procedures for specimen analysis and laboratory experiments.

  • Conduct quality control assessments.

  • Supervise and train other medical laboratory staff.

  • Assist pathologists during autopsies.

  • Work in various departments including transfusions, hematology, and chemistry.

Requirements:  

  • Legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • Registered and in good standing with CMLTO.

  • MLT Diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to relocate to Timmins (relocation compensation provided).

  • Must have access to a vehicle
