Mechanical Assembler
Adecco is currently hiring for a Mechanical Assembler for a full-time temporary opportunity in Ottawa. In this role, you will assemble components using drawings, procedures, and tools, while following safety protocols and supporting production quality. Key responsibilities:
Assemble components according to detailed drawings and procedures
Operate manufacturing equipment as per defined schedules and processes
Use pneumatic and hand tools to perform accurate and efficient assembly
Support the Team Lead with daily tasks and provide production feedback
Identify and report technical issues, escalating as needed
Use software tools such as SFDC, Agile, and Excel for tracking and reporting
Verify printed labels and ensure alignment with production trackers
Maintain safety, quality, and performance standards
Execute inventory control and perform cycle counting
Apply Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and follow new instructions accurately
Support additional company tasks and production needs as required
Qualifications:
Must eligible to work and reside within Canada
Prior experience in mechanical assembly or related manufacturing roles (preferred)
Comfortable using pneumatic tools, hand tools, and production software
Basic understanding of inventory systems and computer-based transactions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical documentation
Team player with good communication and problem-solving skills
