Adecco is currently hiring a Material Handler for a full-time position in Ottawa, ON.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing kitting tasks, managing inventory transactions, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring accuracy and organization within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with established procedures while maintaining safety and efficiency at all times.

Key responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of accurate kitting and order preparation functions

  • Assist with interplant transfers and coordinate movement of materials

  • Perform Door Service (PLR) and work within the company inventory system

  • Transfer excess materials between customers as required

  • Complete cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy

  • Maintain and update procedures and assist in training others when needed

  • Pick and pack products for customer shipments and put stock away in the warehouse

  • Identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements

  • Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse workspace

  • Replenish raw materials and expedite shortages to support production

  • Enter and verify inventory transactions while correcting errors when necessary

  • Safely operate material handling equipment and comply with safety regulations

  • May assist in other warehouse activities as required

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • 0–1 year of experience in a warehouse or electronics-related environment

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and escalate unusual issues when necessary

  • Proficient PC skills and ability to follow established processes

  • Basic math skills and strong hand-eye coordination

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

  • High school education preferred
