Manager in Training

Adecco is actively seeking dedicated and ambitious Manager in Training (MIT) for a full-time role in Pickering, ON, offering an annual salary of $50,000. In this role, you will work closely with the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to oversee the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction, increased sales, and high employee retention.  

• Pay Rate: $50k/year.

Responsibilities:  

• Assist the RGM in managing daily operations of a restaurant with 15-25 employees.

• Direct the efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize customer satisfaction.

• Motivate and support team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

• Ensure the restaurant is cleaner than others and well-maintained.

• Provide coaching and feedback to restaurant team members.

• Support the RGM in preventive maintenance of the restaurant facility and equipment.

• Help implement marketing strategies and adhere to cash control and security procedures.

• Manage inventory and labor and apply financial reporting analysis to enhance results.

• Ensure compliance with government regulations, Redberry policies, employment laws, food safety, security, and operational standards.

• Assist in recruiting, selecting, hiring, and retaining effective team talent.

• Maintain prompt and regular attendance for shifts, meetings, and training.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.

• 1-2 years of restaurant management experience.

• Ability to complete all internal certification programs.

• Must have reliable transportation.
