Maintenance Technician

Adecco is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s high-growth food and beverage manufacturing facility in Etobicoke. You will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic machinery to ensure smooth production operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with food, beverage, pharma, or CPG manufacturing experience to grow professionally in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Pay Rate: $80k/year.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine equipment inspections and identify repair needs
Repair and troubleshoot machinery and associated hardware with minimal supervision
Service machines including conveyors, palletizers, wrappers, depalletizers, and labelers
Maintain and repair PLCs, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
Support operators during equipment malfunctions and collaborate to resolve issues
Participate in team development through training and knowledge sharing
Ensure compliance with Integrated Management Systems (Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP)
Adhere to health, safety, environmental, and legal regulations
Requirements:
Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
4+ years maintenance experience in food, beverage, pharma, or CPG manufacturing
High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
Strong understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
Electromechanical competency (sensors, drives, HMI) is an asset
Experience with blow molding machines considered an advantage
Proficient with mechanical tools, hand/power tools, and production tracking systems
Able to read manuals and blueprints
Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills
Basic computer literacy
Open to a rotating continental shift
