Maintenance Planner (contract)
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Contract Maintenance Planner to work for our client, a leader in the oil and gas sector in Rainbow Lake, AB. In this role you will be responsible for the detailed planning and coordination of maintenance activities across all trade groups at a northern Alberta oil/gas facility. The role supports operational integrity, ensures compliance with License to Operate programs, and promotes a zero-incident safety culture. This is a contract-based role with a focus on optimizing maintenance workflows and minimizing downtime.

Responsibilities:
Plan and prioritize maintenance activities with Operations staff, Maintenance Coordinators, and Trades.
Manage and develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans, refining them as needed.
Collaborate with Senior Trades and Operations teams to develop task lists for routine tasks and turnaround activities.
Support turnaround planning and execution in partnership with Operations.
Facilitate weekly maintenance review meetings to review activities, prioritize upcoming work, and address overlooked maintenance needs.
Participate in monthly cost reviews and annual budget development with Maintenance Coordinators and Operations teams.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and sustain License to Operate programs.
Support maintenance of operational assets through the Conventional Operations Maintenance Strategy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance operational integrity.
Ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
Minimum 5 years of planning experience with SAP or equivalent.
Bachelor’s Degree, Technical Diploma, or Journeyman Trade Certification in a recognized oil and gas field trade.
Knowledge of energy industry codes, standards, regulations, and practices.
Experience with pressure and rotating equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation, and process principles.
Valid certifications: First Aid, H2S Alive, WHMIS, and TDG.
Valid Driver’s License.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
