Machine Maintenance Technician

Adecco is currently seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician for a permanent role in Scarborough, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as the ability to fabricate parts and perform modifications to machinery.

• Pay rate: $58k-$62k/year.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes and products.

• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal functioning.

• Able to fabricate parts, modify machinery, and execute repairs to maintain plant equipment.

• Interpret blueprints and schematics to support repair and modification tasks.

• Proficient in operating hand and power tools, measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.

• Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure efficient production operations.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.

Requirements:

• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical repair.

• Advantageous: Apprenticeship or certification as an Electrician or Millwright.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities.

• Good knowledge of manufacturing and metalworking machinery.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Ability to fabricate and modify parts.

• Punctual and reliable.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Able to follow instructions precisely to ensure accurate repairs.
