Adecco is currently seeking a Log Scaler for a full-time opportunity located in Woodstock, NB.
This role plays a key part in log yard operations, inventory management, and operational support within a solid and well-established Canadian company. Pay Rate: $24.00 – $34.00/hour

Schedule: Set schedule
Shift: Evening shift – 3:10 PM to 11:20 PM (2–3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities
Log Scaling & Yard Management
Scale logs and accurately identify wood species
Manage the log yard to optimize production flow and feedstock
Monitor and optimize log inventory levels
Ensure the quality of received and stored logs
Use the Log Information Management System (LIMS) for log scaling (asset)
Purchasing, Reporting & Operational Support
Purchase supplies, maintenance parts, and operational materials
Prepare production and operational reports
Analyze purchasing activity and follow up with suppliers as needed
Support the continuous improvement team
Assist the manager with the EABAFCP program
Perform other related duties as required
Health & Safety
Support Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) initiatives
Conduct inspections and assist with safety training
Produce work instructions and setup documentation as required
Qualifications
Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada
Relevant experience as a log scaler
Proven ability to sort wood by species
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience using LIMS for log scaling (asset)
Ability to operate heavy equipment (asset)
Bilingual in French and English (asset)
