Adecco is currently hiring a part-time energetic and motivated Line Cook to join a fast‑paced, hands‑on culinary team where every day brings something new in Trenton ON. You will support meal preparation, food production, and kitchen operations for a large‑scale onsite dining program. Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
Location: Trenton, ON
Schedule: Early Shift: 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM | Late Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Job type: Temporary | Part-time | must be available Weekday and weekend shifts

Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Cooking
Washing, peeling, chopping, and cutting fruits and vegetables
Preparing fresh salads and assembling premade meal options such as sandwiches
Portioning meats, vegetables, and ingredients for daily service
Using grills, fryers, oven ranges, and stovetops to cook hot meals
Ensuring all food items meet safety, freshness, and quality standards
Kitchen Operations
Maintaining a spotless and organized workspace to avoid cross‑contamination
Cleaning kitchen surfaces, food prep areas, and equipment throughout the day
Replenishing ingredients, stock, and supplies during service
Supporting kitchen flow during peak periods and special events
General Support
Following all food safety guidelines, hygiene standards, and operational procedures
Assisting team members to ensure efficient meal production
Upholding organization policies and contributing to a positive team environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of cooking experience in a restaurant, catering, banquet, or institutional kitchen (experience must be outside of fast food)
Valid Safe Food Handlers Certification (or provincial equivalent)
Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and cross‑contamination prevention
Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment such as grill tops, fryers, ovens, ranges, and prep tools
Demonstrated ability to follow recipes, portion guidelines, and production standards
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as required
Reliable, punctual
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
