Adecco is currently hiring a full-time killed Licensed Truck & Transport Technician to join our client’s team, One of Canada’s largest trucking companies, in Mississauga, ON. In this role you will work with the Service Coordinator, Tractor Mechanics, and Trailer Mechanics to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on the client’s fleet. The role involves diagnosing issues found during inspections and recommending corrective actions to ensure timely and efficient fleet maintenance.

If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues, and adherence to industry safety standards, we are looking for you!

  • Location: Mississauga, ON

  • Shift: Monday to Thursday or Friday to Sunday

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and prescribe corrective actions for tractor maintenance issues identified during inspections.

  • Perform repairs and preventative maintenance efficiently and effectively.

  • Enter work orders and maintain accurate records of repairs.

  • Maintain shop cleanliness and participate in team meetings.

  • Perform miscellaneous repairs on equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

  • Minimum of two years of experience in fleet preventative maintenance.

  • Licensed Heavy-Duty Mechanic (310T).

  • Strong diagnostic and time-management skills.

  • Experience with computer systems for entering work orders.

  • Previous safety inspection experience is an asset

  • Ability to obtain CVIP is mandatory.
