Lead Restoration Technician

Adecco is actively seeking a Lead Restoration Technician in Calgary, AB, to provide hands-on leadership in responding to water, fire, smoke, and mold emergencies. In this full-time role, you will oversee restoration projects, mentor technicians, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently in line with IICRC standards. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and is passionate about delivering quality results while leading a skilled team.

• Pay Rate: $25–$28.50/hour

Responsibilities:  

• Respond quickly to emergencies such as water, fire, and smoke damage; assess damage and assign tasks to technicians.

• Carry out all restoration work in compliance with IICRC guidelines and company policy (water, fire, mold remediation).

• Provide on-site leadership and mentorship to technicians.

• Ensure all work situations are safe and in compliance with company policy.

• Maintain vehicles fully equipped with necessary tools, equipment, and consumables.

• Keep the shop bay organized and maintain adequate stock of consumables.

• Ensure accurate paperwork and record-keeping for all jobs.

• Maintain clean, sanitary equipment and ensure PPE is available and used properly.

• Perform restoration work independently and accurately record activities.

• Support leadership duties, including intake of after-hours emergency calls.

• Comply with all Red Dot Restoration safety policies, procedures, and practices.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Industry experience preferred but not required.

• Current IICRC tickets are a strong asset.

• Able to lead and work effectively in a team environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Able to remain calm under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

• Skilled in multi-tasking and prioritizing.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Willing to submit to a criminal background check.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

• Comfortable working in various conditions (hot, cold, wet, dusty).

• Able to work Monday–Friday with on-call responsibilities (evenings/weekends).

• Willing to work mandatory on-call, overtime, and weekends as needed.
