Journeyman Electrician

Adecco in partnership with our client, who is dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions for their residential clients is currently hiring a full-time skilled and experienced Electrical Journeyman to join their team in Lethbridge, AB. In this role you will be responsible to assemble install and maintain solar equipment on residential properties while adhering to design specification and safety standards. You will lead a team of apprentices ensuring quality control, efficient projects, completion and great service for clients. Additionally, you will manage and train solar installers and electrical apprentices representing the company with a clean and professional demeanor to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Deal with clients first hand

• Collect all required data to complete thorough assessment and installations 

• Read and interpret electrical architectural drawings and specifications bend assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings pull wire

• Install distribution and control equipment such as switches relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures 

• Install replace and repair related electrical equipment 

• Install data wiring 

• Splice join and connect wire to for circuits 

• Test circuits to ensure integrity and safety

• Install replace and maintain and repair renewable power sources and related equipment 

• Install solar PV modules and supporting racking/ mounting systems 

• Install electric vehicle charging stations

• Program Solar PV electric vehicle and led monitoring systems 

• Submit safety documents daily 

• Submit receipts invoices and any other project related documents 

• Mentor and train apprentice's follow and implement safety procedures during installation

Qualifications:

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

• Journeyman ticket

• Red Seal Electrician

• Should be comfortable working outdoors 

• Physically fit

• Has experience leading a team 

• Familiar with newer technology and programming
