Custodian - Commercial

Adecco is actively seeking a diligent and responsible Custodian - Commercial for a full-time position in Gold River, BC. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for cleanliness, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean environment for all building occupants. This position offers a competitive wage of $25.00 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to the daily upkeep of the facility.

• Pay Rate: $25/hour.

• Location: Gold River, BC

• Shift: Monday-Friday - Days

• Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

• Sweeping and mopping floors throughout the building.

• Emptying trash cans and waste containers both inside and outside.

• Cleaning and disinfecting washrooms and fixtures.

• Dusting and cleaning all office furnishings such as desks, shelves, equipment, and copiers.

• Keeping walkways and stairways clear for safety.

• General exterior cleaning, including windows and doors.

• Maintaining an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.

• Reporting any damages or issues requiring maintenance or replacement.

Requirements:  

• Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

• Is physically fit to carry out cleaning tasks and handle equipment.

• Has at least 2 years of experience in janitorial or similar roles (preferred).

• Demonstrates a responsible and dependable attitude and can pass a vulnerable sector criminal check.

• Maintains a clean, safe, and healthy work environment and follows all health and safety protocols.

• Has reliable transportation to and from work (a vehicle is required).
