Investment Implementation Services Specialist
Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Investment Implementation Services Specialist to join our team in Toronto, ON for an 18-month contract. This role involves working closely with the Head of Client Implementation on the transition and onboarding activities related to a diverse range of client assets, including defined benefit plans, defined contribution plans, endowments, foundations, and non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the securities industry and a solid background in managing complex transitions and implementations.
Pay rate: $39/hour.
Location: Toronto, ON | Hybrid – 3 days in office per week
Shifts: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

Responsibilities:
Manage the transition and onboarding activities for new client assets, including defined benefit and defined contribution plans, endowments, and non-profit organizations.
Oversee the ongoing maintenance and documentation of the onboarding process to ensure efficiency, risk management, and continuous improvement.
Handle transition management, securities settlement, fund settlement, and alternative investment transactions such as capital calls and hedge funds.
Coordinate the implementation of new products, including planning, documentation of trust agreements and offering materials, and execution of fund launches.
Facilitate the implementation of third-party managers by managing documentation, setup with client custodians and managers, and initial trading execution.
Oversee sub-advisor changes, including documentation, setup with custodians and sub-advisors, and transition management.
Maintain client information and deliver services, including plan mergers, dismantling of Master Trusts, plan name changes, client billing, and documentation.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in portfolio management with a focus on institutional client account maintenance, defined contribution platforms, and trade order management (securities and funds).
Experience with mutual/pooled funds is an asset.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (including Macro skills), with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Strong interpersonal, project management, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience with trade processing, Charles River Investment Solutions, cash management, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing.
