Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Inventory Staff to join our client’s warehouse and logistics team in Ajax, ON. The Inventory Staff is responsible for accurately managing and processing goods within the warehouse, ensuring product quality, proper documentation, and compliance with company procedures and safety standards. This role is key to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting audits, and optimizing warehouse efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical inventory counts in accordance with company standards and procedures

  • Organize and process pending products following specific guidelines

  • Inspect product quality, including expiration dates and product condition (e.g., fresh items)

  • Perform damage control and handle reusable discards appropriately

  • Complete checklists for equipment and vehicles at the start of each shift and report anomalies

  • Process irregularities and escalate issues to supervisors as needed

  • Enter data accurately into the computer system and/or inventory tracking files

  • Assist with audits and ensure compliance with certification and regulatory requirements

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following Good Quality Practices and 5S principles

  • Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and internal procedures

  • Properly store containers in designated storage areas

  • Perform quality and weight checks on goods trays and update tray statuses in the inventory system

  • Apply and uphold all health and safety rules in line with ID Logistics and local policies

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous experience in inventory, warehousing, or logistics preferred

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Familiarity with inventory software and data entry

  • Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines

  • Capable of standing, walking, and lifting as required in a warehouse environment

  • Team player with good communication skills

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
