Inventory Clerk - 5-day contract

Adecco is currently looking for an Inventory support associate to assist our client in the trainyards, Ottawa, ON. This role is a 5-day contract to support the specific inventory process. • Pay rate: $18.50/hour

• Location: Trainyards - Ottawa, ON

• Contract Length: December 5-10th

• Job type: Temporary

Responsibilities:

• Receive and unpack shipments of materials and grocery items to be unloaded to storage;

• To prepare appropriate documents and maintain records

• To ensure that all shipments are accurately and properly prepared to the customer's destination

• Count document and log all inventories in the store on the sales floor and storage

• Some cleaning

• Other Duties as assigned

The Inventory support  must meet the following mandatory requirements:

• Must hold a at least a Secondary School Diploma or GED;

• Availability to work within 8:00 – 19:00 Monday to Sunday;

• Written, Oral and Spoken communication skills in English;

• Basic Physical abilities (lifting boxes up to 50 lbs);

• Strong attention to detail and data reporting skills;

• Experience in assembly/sawdering would be considered an asset;

• Light industrial experience would be considered an asset.
