Adecco is currently seeking an Insurance Funding Coordinator for a full-time contract role based in Ottawa, Ontario.

This position supports timely and accurate insurance funding for clients by coordinating with insurance agencies, healthcare providers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a healthcare or insurance environment.

  • Location: Ottawa, ON

  • Pay Rate: $24.03/hour

  • Job Type: Full-time | Temporary contract

  • Contract Dates: February 6, 2026 to June 1, 2026

  • Schedule: Set schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with insurance agencies to obtain and renew funding authorizations

  • Monitor insurance funding expiry dates and proactively initiate renewals

  • Document all communications and clinical notes accurately in the EMR system

  • Respond to client inquiries by phone and email in a timely and professional manner

  • Collaborate with internal departments to gather required information

  • Communicate with physician offices to obtain necessary medical documentation

  • Ensure compliance with agency requirements and internal processes

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada

  • Experience in healthcare administration or insurance coordination

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

  • Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with minimal supervision

  • Post-secondary education in Health Administration or a related field

  • Certification in Medical Office Administration or Health Information Management
