Adecco is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our client's team in Dauphin, MB. This is a contract/temporary role offering $30 per hour, supporting various HR functions including payroll, employee relations, and performance management. The position reports to the VP of HR based in the US.

  • Pay rate: $30/hour.

  • Location: Dauphin, MB

  • Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for all open positions.

  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding activities for Canadian team members.

  • Handle employee relations issues and support conflict resolution.

  • Administer performance management processes and ensure compliance with company policies.

  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Prepare monthly HR reports and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.

  • Work onsite Monday to Friday at our Dauphin, Manitoba office.

Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HR roles within Canada.

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian HR labor laws and regulations.

  • Proficiency in Canada work comp, payroll, and tax procedures.

  • Advanced skills in Excel; experience with HRIS, UKG preferred.

  • Previous experience in a high volume/high turnover environment (e.g., distribution, manufacturing, retail).

  • Familiarity with paperless HR environments is preferred.
