HR Administrator
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced HR Administrator to play a critical role in supporting employee relations within our client’s organization in Sherwood Park, AB. Ideally, you will have a strong background in managing employee relations, especially in unionized environments, and will be adept at handling employee issues, conducting investigations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Experience in a manufacturing setting is a strong asset for this role.

Pay Rate: $25 – $27 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Sherwood Park, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday | 40h per week

Responsibilities:
Support role for HR Lead
Living the safety standards and adhering to the safety responsibilities
Adheres to all site and position specific safety policies, procedures, and standards
Performing HR generalist tasks to achieve service excellence
Recruiting and sourcing candidates to fill entry level Union positions with exceptional talent in a timely manner
Partners with business leaders on organization announcement and ensures effective onboarding for new hires
Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews;
Creates interview materials
Maintains/updates information
Provides support for all employee HR processes such as payroll, benefits, communications, onboarding, record keeping
Plans and executes employee engagement events
Develops, prepares, and maintains reports generated through Talent Center and Kronos –
Analytics Ensures Employee Central data integrity through accurate and timely processing of job changes, separations, hires and organization change
Maintains appropriate electronic & physical filing systems
Serves as the point of contact for all employee record questions including but not limited to: Disciplinary records, payroll, benefits, attendance, contact lists etc.
Qualifications:
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
2-3 years’ experience for HR Administrator position
College degree for HR or Business strongly preferred
Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
Owns a vehicle, not transit accessible
Detail orientated (repetitive and detailed work)
Experience working with union employees
Experience communicating both internally and externally and effectively managing relationships at all levels.
Proven track record of success in filling entry-level open positions with exceptional talent in a timely manner
Collaborating with others and providing administrative support
Strong analytical skills, ability to evaluate and interpret data.
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive communications and data.
Ability to coordinate multiple activities on a daily basis.
Strong skills in attention to detail/accuracy/flexibility
Highly organized Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of constituencies.
High fluency in using MS Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Knowledge of HRIS systems (SuccessFactors), Kronos
Service/Customer oriented
Generate ideas collaborate and foster teamwork.
