Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Hose Assembly Technicians to join our client’s warehouse team in Winnipeg, MB. In this role you will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging hose assemblies in accordance with company and ISO quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

  • Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret work orders accurately to determine assembly requirements.

  • Ensure conformance to hose assembly quality standards and ISO procedures.

  • Operate all hose assembly equipment, including saws, depth marking tools, inserters, crimpers, and air flush stations.

  • Perform manual lifting (up to 35 lbs) and use cranes or lift-assist devices for heavier materials.

  • Use various measuring tools such as tape measures, scales, digital protractors, and calipers to ensure product accuracy.

  • Inspect hose assemblies at all stages of production to ensure quality compliance.

  • Cap, tag, and package hose assemblies for shipment according to company procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Lead or Supervisor.

  • Follow all company and regulatory policies, including Health & Safety, WHMIS, and Code of Ethics.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Participate in problem-solving initiatives to prevent product or process nonconformities.

  • Identify, record, and escalate any quality or process issues.

  • Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming products until issues are resolved.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous experience using hand and power tools (e.g., saws, measuring tapes) required.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude; prior manufacturing or assembly experience is a strong asset.

  • Basic computer literacy

  • Strong verbal communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team setting.

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Consistent ability to lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally up to 35 lbs.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
