Adecco is currently hiring a full-time an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to join our clients warehouse team. In this role you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment in accordance with work orders and quality standards. You may be required to assist with other duties as required.

  • Location: Whitby, ON

  • Job Type: Full-time | Temporary (Temp-to-perm potential)

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Salary: $20–$21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform work assigned by Supervisors, divided among Technicians according to skill set

  • Conduct visual inspections of items, matching tags against work orders and identifying damaged or missing parts

  • Perform pretests to identify root problems and implement Engineering Changes

  • Place items on hold in the database if parts are missing, including complete details and tagging

  • Test items for function, quality, and bios updates; tag completed repairs appropriately

  • Assess items for NER (Not Economically Repairable) as instructed by Customer Support

  • Forward completed work to the Refurbishing department at least twice daily

  • Update the database with all required information

  • Communicate status of rush/critical repairs to Customer Support

  • Maintain a neat and tidy work area

  • Perform other tasks assigned by Managers

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with electronic repair or assembly required

  • Warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is an asset

  • Post-secondary education in electronics is an asset

  • Must pass a criminal background check

  • Must be eligible to work and reside in Canada
