Adecco is currently seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our clients team on a temporary basis in Ladysmith, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift, performing various warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, and packaging, and ensuring the efficient movement of inventory within the facility.

Pay rate: $24/hour.
Location: Ladysmith, BC
Shifts: Monday-Sunday: Must be able to work 7 days a week
- 9:00am-4:00pm and 4:00pm-12:00am
Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Responsibilities:

Operate a Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift
Perform shipping, receiving, and packaging duties
Work with warehouse management systems and RF scanners
Maintain daily equipment logs and perform safety checks
Load/unload inventory from trucks and stack products
Ensure proper quantities against bills of lading
Stage products and assist with inventory movement
Lift items weighing up to 50lbs

Requirements:

Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
Must be certified on a Sit-Down Counterbalance Forklift
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience in a fast-paced distribution environment preferred
Steel toe boots required
Ability to work in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment
Excellent customer service skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Flexible with work schedule
