Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring a part-time reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations for a leading organization in Coldstream, BC. This role is ideal for an experienced operator who values safety, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational excellence.

• Pay Rate: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Location: Coldstream, BC

• Shift: Monday to Friday | 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM

• Job type: Temporary | Part-time | 3–5 Month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments and prepare outbound orders

• Verify product quantities against shipping and receiving documentation

• Organize inventory using FIFO practices and established warehouse procedures

• Perform inventory transactions using scanners and warehouse systems

• Report any damaged goods, discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly

• Conduct daily forklift inspections and ensure equipment is in safe working condition

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Follow all company health, safety, and operational procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or distribution setting

• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification prior to starting

• Experience with loading and unloading trucks

• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems and scanners

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required

• Comfortable working in warehouse or refrigerated environments

• Experience with ERP systems is an asset

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
