Forklift Operator

Adecco is hiring a Forklift Operator for our client in Brockville, ON. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts, handling inventory, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Location: Brockville, ON

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Every third week: 10-hour shift, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM)

• Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary

Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.

• Receive, load, and unload goods.

• Manage depalletizing stations and dispose of dunnage.

• Conduct inventory checks and cycle counts.

• Operate warehouse equipment and assist packaging operators.

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

• Perform month-end closures and invoicing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve warehouse-related issues.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be eligible to reside and work within Canada.

• High school diploma required.

• 1–5 years of warehouse experience preferred.

• Valid forklift license is mandatory.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and walk for extended periods.

• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.

• Computer literate, with the ability to learn new programs (SAP experience is an asset).

• Problem-solving mindset and team-oriented attitude.

• Ability to pass a drug test.
