Adecco is currently hiring a full-time reliable and safety-focused Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our client’s warehouse team in Woodbridge, Vaughan or Etobicoke, ON. In this role, you will operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, move, stack, and organize materials in and around the warehouse and shipping/receiving docks. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient and accurate movement of goods while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

  • Pay Rate: up to $23.80/hour (based on experience)

  • Location: Woodbridge, Vaughan and Etobicoke

  • Shift:  8hour shifts

  • Job type: Long term contract | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Counterbalance experience are required

  • Work in a freezer environment (up to -17), handling materials in sub-zero temperatures.

  • Ensure all products are properly stored and stacked to meet company standards.

  • Perform routine safety checks on equipment before and after use.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety protocols.

  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks and other warehouse duties as required.

  • Work independently and proactively, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Must have valid forklift license from a recognized forklift training center. 

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience operating Counterbalance machines

  • Comfortable working in a freezer environment (-17°C or below).

  • Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Experience with reverse tractor reach driving is an asset.

  • Strong ability to work independently and take initiative to get the job done.

  • Proven commitment to safety, with a mature and self-driven attitude.

  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
