Engineering Technologist - Method
Adecco is currently seeking a Engineering Technologist - Method to join our clients team in the aerospace industry. Reporting to the Team Leader of Repair and Overhaul, you will play a critical role in creating work instructions and maintaining work orders and routers. Your attention to detail and coordination skills will be essential in liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal departments.
Pay rate: $35/hour.
Location: Ajax, ON
Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm

Responsibilities:
Create and maintain Technical Process Instructions (Repair Layouts).
Provide technical coordination for detailed Repair Process Layouts.
Track the status of repair units alongside repair layouts.
Review Concessions, Non-Conforming Reports (NCRs), Deficiency Reports, Engineering Dispositions (DREDs), Repair Engineering Orders (REOs), and Deviation Reports prior to creating Repair Process Layouts.
Support the design of tooling and test equipment for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
Assist with 3D printing-related projects.
Liaise with Support Engineering and Sub-Contractors on technical issues, updating the Concession Database Log.
Prepare cost estimates related to repairs.
Update SAP business system and Work in Progress (WIP) Reports as necessary.
Utilize SAP to develop new and revise Travelers.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
University degree or College diploma in Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience in the aerospace industry.
Proficient in reading and interpreting Manufacturing Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances, and industry specifications (Boeing, Military, Component Maintenance Manuals).
Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, Access, and SAP.
Experience with CATIA and 3D printing is an asset.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Previous experience in a Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) is a desirable asset.
