Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Electronic Assemblers to join our client’s team in the Final Assembly & Integration department in Markham, ON. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining production flow, performing precise mechanical and electronic assembly tasks, and ensuring high-quality standards are met. This is a hands-on position requiring strong attention to detail, technical and mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and senior operators.
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Location: Markham, ON
Shifts: 4:00pm – 12:30am

Responsibilities:
Mechanical assembly of electrical assemblies and subassemblies.
Perform mechanical work such as mounting equipment within enclosures, punching holes in panels, drilling, and tapping.
Build wire harnesses and cables, crimp, route, and tie cables & cable harnesses
Ability to determine wiring sequence, layout and location and ensure space allowance for arrangement of wiring and components with minimum supervisions
Ability to assemble electrical devices and/or wire electrical control panels and subassemblies using engineering schematic and working instructions.
Ability to provide recommendations in trouble shooting and root cause analysis of customer / product issues
Read assembly instructions and build to process requirements
Ability to diagnose and trouble shoot at a wiring diagram and repair/modify any errors detected by inspection / test
Prepare product for shipment including packaging orders, performing out of box audit & physically moving materials from the production cell to the warehouse
Transfer inventory between stocking locations in SAP
Physical & systematic tagging, segregating, and moving of defective material to a nonconformance material location
Issue Quality Escape Report (QER) to the appropriate personnel as required
Participate in lean events such as 5S and basic workstation redesign
Maintain 5S standards in the work cell
Ensure anti-static protection is always worn to prevent damage to static sensitive parts
Work in a safe manner and ensure appropriate training is taken to do tasks safely
Report any incidents or injuries while on the job
Carry out responsibilities in accordance with GE's Quality Assurance and Workmanship standards
Abide by all GE corporate and local policies and procedures including but not limited to Integrity - The
Spirit and The Letter, Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety policies.
Assisted with cross functional team to plan and resolve production problems.
Maintain and control accurate inventory levels in WIP by correctly conducting material transactions in a timely manner.
Provide the material kit and accompanying paperwork for the production line. Communicate any risks to management as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma / GED
Holding Electrical engineering background is preferable
Minimum of 1 year experience in manufacturing environment.
Must be able to work up to 6 hours standing and will be required to regularly bend, stretch, etc.
Ability to lift to 35lbs as part of daily duties.
Flexibility and adaptability to work anywhere on the shop floor
Ability to read assembly drawings and schematics
Good understanding of verbal and written communication
Good interpersonal skills are an asset, as this position will require occasional interdepartmental communications
Basic computer skills are required
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
