Adecco is actively seeking a skilled and dependable Electrician to join our client’s team in Cambridge, ON. In this full-time role, you will install, repair, and maintain electrical components, wiring, and control systems within an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. Responsibilities:  
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical components, wiring, control systems, and machinery in an industrial environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for accurate installations and maintenance work.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in motor drives, sensors, lighting panels, and production equipment.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and improve reliability.
  • Conduct inspections and electrical testing using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and voltmeters.
  • Assist with installation of new systems including conduits, control panels, power distribution, and safety circuitry.
  • Ensure compliance with Ontario Electrical Codes, health & safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including maintenance logs, repair reports, and inventory records.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to support smooth plant operations.
Requirements:  
  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical-college diploma is an asset.
  • Licensed Electrician with Red Seal Certification (Industrial or Construction) highly preferred.
  • Proven experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician.
  • Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and industrial wiring layouts.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems and control panels.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical codes, safety procedures, and industrial standards.
  • Proficient in diagnostic tools (voltmeters, ammeters, multimeters).
  • Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in industrial environments, including confined spaces and heights.
