Adecco is actively seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the Electrical Integration Department for automated test systems. This role requires a strong technical leader who can manage a high-performing team, collaborate across departments, and ensure the delivery of high-quality electrical systems. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, provide mentorship, and drive continuous improvement in system design and development processes.

  • Pay Rate: $130k/year.

  • Location: Burlington, ON

  • Job type: Permanent | Full-time

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the electrical engineering team, providing day-to-day supervision and technical mentorship

  • Drive, review, and approve electrical system designs; evaluate team performance and provide feedback

  • Assign tasks and manage labor resources across projects to balance workload

  • Communicate staffing and project status updates to management

  • Train and mentor engineers; hire and onboard new staff as needed

  • Support or delegate contributions to quoting efforts for new projects

  • Uphold high standards for the quality of integrated test systems

  • Continuously improve development processes, tools, and quality standards

  • Ensure compliance with Canadian workplace and safety standards

Requirements:  

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is an asset

  • 8+ years of electrical engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role

  • Proven expertise in electrical design, integration, and troubleshooting of automated systems

  • Strong team management, mentoring, and staff development skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Familiarity with Canadian electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance

  • Innovative, process-oriented, and focused on continuous improvement
