Adecco in partnership with our client, a highly respected and rapidly growing engineering consultancy, is currently hiring full-time Electrical Engineering Consultants at multiple experience levels to join their dynamic team. We are seeking professionals passionate about delivering innovative solutions in substation engineering, protection & control (P&C), and power systems across Canada’s most impactful industrial and utility-scale projects.
Pay Rate: up to $150 000 (based on experience)
Location: Surrey, BC

Responsibilities:
Design and engineering for substations, power systems, and industrial facilities
Develop protection & control systems, including relay protection, schematics, and studies
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and complete design packages
Coordinate utility interconnections and grid compliance
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, utilities, and contractors
Provide construction support, site involvement, and commissioning exposure
Mentor junior engineers (Intermediate and Senior levels)
Qualifications:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Background in utilities, power generation, or heavy industry
Experience or strong interest in substations, P&C, or power systems
Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills
Substation engineering (medium & high voltage)
Protection & Control systems: relay protection, control schematics, and studies
Power systems engineering: generation, transmission, and distribution
Utility interconnection and grid coordination
Industrial electrical systems for heavy industry environments
Strong communication skills and a consultative, collaborative mindset
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
