Adecco is currently recruiting for a Senior Administrative Assistant for a part time hybrid contract for an approximately 8 month contract with our Crown Corporation Client in Toronto, ON. The successful candidate must hold a valid Reliability Level Security Clearance or be eligible for it.
The Senior Administrative Assistant will have the following responsibilities:
Collecting, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing Operations and Finance data to identify patterns, trends, and insights
Providing reporting to provide insight on the status of operations and finance, as directed by the Manager, operations and Finance
Making travel reservations and developing itinerary and preparing travel expense claims
Investigate PD training options for the MOF Team, based on direction from the Manager, Operations and Finance
Provide administrative support in the creation and maintenance of master data, the provision of assistance and guidance to client users on the Sonar, Sonar 360, Sigma and other regional applications
Ensuring the integrity of data by reviewing master data, monitoring the usage of the data files and managing data as directed
Reporting, data analysis, project work related to data gathering, mining, reformatting and analysis
Navigating new and emerging systems (SAP, SONAR, Sonar 360) to mine data, filter data, format data, develop reports for decision-making within the region and to monitor activities,
Creating and maintaining master data files and records by examining on-line documents and discussing the contents of the file with subject matter experts to determine the appropriate data entry requirements.
Consult with internal stakeholders to determine the appropriate codes etc.
Creating databases and develop custom reports on existing corporate databases using tools such as Microsoft Excel
Discussing and consulting with the client user groups to proactively identify Operations and Finance data quality issues, interface with appropriate staff and develop tool sets to assist in solving issues
Identifying systematic and recurring problems related to data quality of Sonar and other applications system and assisting the group in the problem
Providing support services such as documenting system deficiencies, identifying causes of problems (such as missing data: NAICS codes, performance data on a firm &/or inconsistent information between Sigma and Sonar) and recommending solutions
Providing technical services relating to data quality issues from a regional perspective to ensure timely and effective resolution of master data applications related problems
Performing on-going cleansing of master data by reviewing and monitoring the use of data, removing duplicate or erroneous data and archiving master data no longer in use in accordance with established business rules and procedures
Providing reports on financial activity
Acting as backup to Admin staff in making travel reservations, developing itinerary and preparing travel expense claims
The Senior Administrative Assistant should have the following qualifications and skills:
Minimum Education: Completion of Second-year University in Finance or Accounting program
Senior level knowledge in managing data from multiple sources and in multiple formats, within a government environment, using Excel, Pivot Table.
Mandatory Requirement: The Resource must have a minimum mandatory of three (3) month experience with the following three platforms: SAP, SONAR, and Sonar 360
Knowledge of Python is an asset.
Must have a valid Reliability clearance or be able to obtain one
Ability to communicate effectively in English
