Data Entry Clerk
Adecco is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk for a temporary position based in London, ON. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate data across various systems. Your role will ensure the integrity of records, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
Enter and update data into databases, spreadsheets, or other data management systems.
Review and verify data for accuracy and completeness.
Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in data.
Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
Organize and maintain digital and physical files and records.
Assist in preparing reports and generating basic data summaries.
Communicate with other departments to clarify data entry needs or resolve issues.
Perform routine data audits and assist in data cleaning as necessary.
Manage incoming data requests and ensure timely and accurate delivery.
Support administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
Proficient in Google Workspace and Excel (Intermediate to Advanced level).
Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and other data management software.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy (typically 40-60 words per minute or higher).
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high focus and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
