Customer Service Order Specialist
Our client is a premiere and well recognized, national manufacturer with their local facility located in Southwest Mississauga. This position is hybrid (onsite Monday and Thursdays) and reporting to the Team Lead Customer Service. This Customer Service Specialist is unique, and not in a call centre. It is accountable for order management and customer service excellence, responsible for Business-to-Business (B2B) customer communication from order to fulfillment while working with Sales and Global Supply Chain to fulfill customer orders. They are the primary point of contact for commercial customers, and the position will start with fundamental skills and eventually develop more complex expertise. This is a temporary full-time contract lasting approximately one year in length. REQUIREMENTS – Customer Service Order Specialist
2+ years of experience in commercial (B2B) customer service / end-to-end order management related role
Post secondary education is preferred
Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a workload in a fast paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication skills, both verbally (phone communication) and written (email communication)
Exceptionally strong customer service focus, with an ability to translate customer requests into actionable results
Experience with SAP or other ERP business systems is an asset
Collaborate and solve problems effectively with external and internal partners
Ability to adhere to process and strive for operational efficiency
Fluently bilingual in English and French languages is an asset
Hybrid role with 3 days in office (core office days, Mon. & Thurs.), 2 days at home
RESPONSIBILITIES – Customer Service Order Specialist
Act as the primary point of contact, providing strong service for key commercial accounts and distributors
Receive, expedite and accurately process to completion all sales orders
Coordinate, confirm and communicate all deliveries to customers
Work with customers, sales, production and distribution to fulfill customer requirements and documentation
Run daily open order reports to ensure capturing all pending order and invoices
Resolve order and delivery problems in a professional and timely manner
Provide customers with technical information, technical data sheets, and promotional materials
Promote and enforce internal quality procedures and policies
Make appropriate product and packaging recommendations
Manage accounts with special requirements to ensure a strong customer experience
Provide peer training and onboarding of new team members through shadowing and coaching
Offer Subject matter knowledge of Customer Service Systems like iBuy, SAP, Salesforce
