Credit Associate
Adecco is currently hiring a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Associate to join our client’s team on a temporary, full-time basis. This role requires you to possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate tactfully yet firmly with customers to obtain credit memos in a timely manner and resolve credit discrepancies. This is an in-office position requiring effective collaboration with various departments and a high degree of accuracy.
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
Location: North York, ON (in office)
Shift: 40h per week

Responsibilities:
Communicate with customers to follow up on credit memos and resolve credit discrepancies in a timely and professional manner
Accurately enter and maintain financial data in internal systems
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment issues or inconsistencies
Collaborate with internal departments including Sales and Accounts Payable to resolve issues and support credit-related processes
Analyze account information to identify and resolve outstanding credit issues
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to credit transactions
Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
Background or qualification in accounting is a strong asset
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Google Docs
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
Experience with account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate with customers firmly yet tactfully to resolve issues
Comfortable working collaboratively with team members across departments
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Effective problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
